Here you will find information on our featured mountain homes and home sites, our gated community nestled in the mountains north of Asheville, current events at Wolf Laurel, and the surrounding area.
It’s been a wonderful summer on our mountain. From the 4th of July celebration (which over 700 of us attended) to hikes on the AT and peaceful evenings along Bald Mountain Creek or gazing for 70 miles across the Black Mountains, it makes me realize how lucky we are to come home to The Preserve and our mountain retreat. This is a place where friends and family gather, kids chase fireflies and play in the creek, and porch rockers abound. We walk in the woods and pick wild berries. Sound too good to be true? It’s not.
